If we were having coffee, the Connecticut weekend edition

Coming to you live, well almost, from Connecticut.

If we were having coffee, I’m having my yogurt and chex cereal instead. I woke up famished and honestly being away for the last few days was well worth it and much needed. I’ll be running downstairs to Starbucks in a little while so please make yourself comfortable and enjoy a cuppa whatever your pleasure.

I’ve been in Connecticut for a few days and although there is wifi available the damn thing kept giving me issues until about 20 min ago and I wasn’t able to connect the new laptop into the casinos wifi. However, our iPhones were both able to connect seemlesly. Go figure!!

My week, although light or more like absent from blogging, had nothing to do with writers block I’m happy to say. It was all for other reasons, some extremely good, others out of my control like the wifi issue. I’m happy it was mainly for good reasons 🙂

And dare I say, I haven’t been this truly happy in I don’t know how long. It feels great, it feels out of the ordinary and honestly I can’t compare it to anything else in life. Sounds corny but it’s true.

My view the last few days has been pretty sweet, and so has this outside view from the hotel window. Today however, there was much overcast and clouds, they seem to be just lifting now but still not picture worthy.

I do hope that you all have a fantastic weekend. I know I’m enjoying the time away and the company. 

Still in that mindset of too good to be true, but I’m going with the flow and enjoying the time.
