I no longer can stay

When the heavy weight of falling snow
seems more tranquil, peaceful even
than noisy ramblings deep inside
I know it’s time to go

What once was chore, tedious work
now becomes a hopeful respite
escaping the chaos within these walls
if they crumble I’ll go berserk

Burning raging heated fire
anger rising from within
breaking free running wild
but to quickly fading I soon tire

Choices chances missed along the way
my bones and soul now weakened weary
how much more can I give
I no longer can stay
